November recently joined, that came up as a surprise to me! I know I’ll probably wake up tomorrow and we’ll be issuing in the new year, this is the way our perception of time goes. But seriously, I’m surprised!
When I logged onto Facebook today a lot of my newsfeed was filled with parts of the country covered in snow. It seems as if Autumn is always so short, and winter stays for longer than desired.
In that vain, I wanted to share a poem that I ran across recently:
If you are one of the many watching the snowfall down, don’t forget about the color you’ve just been lucky enough to experience.
I’ve been speaking about both joy and gratitude a lot lately. They go hand in hand, in my view. When I count my blessings I feel joyful! Thinking of my joy fills me with an incredible appreciation for everything in my circle.
It doesn’t hurt that this is November, the month where we tend to reflect on our blessings the most. I can’t wait to eat dinner, surrounded by family, and enjoy my life for the moment.
If you are like me, I wanted to share my Be True collection with you. While the bright flowers might make you think and feel spring, along with that bright tree and house, the overall sentiment fits this time of year too!
There are so many ways you could incorporate these die cuts in your seasonal designs:
- Centerpiece decor, see a design Betz Golden did recently for inspiration
- Hostess thank you cards
- Hostess gift
- Placement cards
I could think of a ton of different projects for these, including: Let the Littles in your house decorate a sheet of cardstock with stickers, markers, paint, etc. Use double-sided tape to adhere to the ephemera to the decorated cardstock. Laminate (or not) for a homey take on a placemat!
The point is to think outside the box, the uses for these are only limited by your imagination!
