Hey Creative! Happy Day! Lots going on this week! First today Yolie has created paper doll perfection with this sweet little card using some elements from my Magical Theatre: Create and play with movable paper dolls book and one if the girls from the Fairytale Collection ephemera kit! Don’t you love that her raincoat and umbrella are see-through?! I love it! And guess what? The beauty of this book is that it also comes as an ebook so that you can print out as many different elements as many times as you’d like!
This book has so many fun elements. There are paper dolls (articulated), with fairy wings, costumes, backgrounds, and soooo many accessories! (Every princess needs a crown just sayin’!) If that isn’t enough there are some black and white pages for you to color yourself as well as a plain doll shape if you feel like creating your own paper doll perfection! The colors are vibrant in typical Rita Barakat style. 😉
This project above has one of many backgrounds from the book, the dress and the girl is from the book as well. I choose to use s little air dry clay for the wings. Together the project looks stunning. You can use these paper doll and elements on the card, planners, your art journal books…Possibilities are endless! I also love that you can pose them in different ways to make your own creative scenes come to life!
Tonight join me on FB for another episode of Mixed Media Monday! I am going to share some fun techniques to use in your mixed media projects! Make sure to pop on right at 8 pm CST so you don’t miss anything!
See you tonight on FB!
