Hey Creatives! Today is a new reveal of my newest die cut collection The Woodland Sprites! When I was in college I was nicknamed Sprite, I thought it was odd until I looked up its meaning.
Sprite. A sprite is a spirit, a mythical, fairy-like creature who lives by the water. A small being, human in form, playful and having magical powers
Even then I was in love with fairies and mermaids and all things magical! I thought it would be a fitting name for this collection. I love drawing and painting fairies! This is one of five Sprites in the collection, I think she is my favorite. She looks so deep in thought, don’t you wonder what she is thinking?

What names do you think these Sprites should have? They should be magical names I think, like Calypso or Aria.

Imagine these little Woodland Sprites living in small magical forests, where little streams of water flow. They use empty acorn shells to retrieve water from those streams and gather berries to eat. If you are very still and quiet you might even catch a glimpse of these little fairies fluttering right by your face. They are very fast and nimble so you must be very aware to see the veil of the fairies!

The Woodland Sprites collection will be live in the shop on Friday. But you can purchase the other die cut collections here.

Meanwhile, I wanted you to see this beautiful card that Yolie made with one of the mermaids from my Mermaid Tails die cut/Ephemera collection. You can find a tutorial on her blog here: Coral Mermaid – Yolie Burke
