Hey, Creatives! Have you used face stencils for art? Monday we talked about making faces and that stamps were one way to add a beautiful face to your art pieces and today we discussing face stencils.
The picture above was made with face stencils, we had a really fun time on Mixed Media Monday with this because with a stencil you can add your own personal touches, as you see my son did here (on the left)! LOL, It was a fun episode! The comments were just as funny- you can see them on the replay if you missed it.
Face stencils for art

Betz Golden used
I love that she made her with super rocking hair! So fun!
If you have never used face stencils watch the video – it is super easy! With just a few steps you will have a beautiful face! I made these stencils because so many people told me what a hard time they trying to draw a face! (Hence the name So you say you can’t draw!)
TIP- for Face Stencils for art
Three easy steps:
1. FIll in the lines of the stencil with a mechanical pencil.
2. Lift the stencil and connect your lines
3. Trace your lines with a small .5 or .3 pen and erase your pencil lines!
In addition, a way to make yourself better at drawing faces is to practice! After you have used the stencil a few times you can skip a part of her face. Let’s say the lips, and try to draw the lips without the stencil. Do that a few times and when you have that down try skipping a different part of the face. Keep doing this until you can do the whole face all by yourself! You can do this!
Please share these posts if you feel it would help a friend – and make sure to check out Mixed Media Monday every Monday night on FB at Rita Barakat 1 at 8 pm CST!
P.S.
I almost forgot! Thursday 2/7, I will be doing another live stream from our Facebook group Rise and Shine with Rita hBarakat on another way to make a face at 2 pm CST if you haven’t joined that group yet, go there and click join! Easy peasy see ya there!
Blessings!
