ATC’s (Artist Trading Cards)
Have you tried ATC’s? I love them! Otherwise known as Artist Trading cards, these small cards are so fun to make! They are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and as far as the art anything goes! I was recently at a show where they were doing a big trade – you make a bunch of the same card and trade them with other people in the swap. How fun is that? I would have totally participated had I known ahead of time!
Personally, I adore this size and this project from Stephanie! It’s a great size to try new techniques, new products or to get out of a rut! ATC’s are also great to soak up leftover paint or drippings from your other mixed media projects!
ATC’s
Here is what Stephanie had to say about her project:
Hello, I created this ATC with the beautiful Zoe stamp from the Rita Barakat/Technique Junkie collaboration. It originally started out as a postcard but I felt I could do so much more with her. Distress Oxide inks were used to color the watercolor postcard. I then painted her face with Plaid acrylic paint. I trimmed around the stamped image and adhered her to a 2.5×3.5 piece of cardstock. Wrote the word Hi with a Nuvo glitter pen and accented the edge with glitter pen as well. I have several baseball card sleeves that I mail ATC’s in for swaps so I slipped the ATC into the clear sleeve and added some Nuvo glitter confetti stars and butterflies. The top edge is sealed with washi tape. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I had creating it.
Do you create ATC’s? If so do you swap them with others? Let us know in the comments below!
The Zoe stamp is now available in the shop! So are the new die mermaid die cuts and some of the new embossing powders! Remember a lot of the products in the shop are only there for a limited time only so don’t wait! (Some will not be back after they are gone!) Happy shopping!

The masterpiece of mini art you sent me would definitely qualify as ATC . You are fantastic at it . It’s really nice to see people talking about it more and more .
She turned out great! You are the queen of the ATC 👸
Sorry Stephanie, I thought I commented on this the first time I saw it. This is so cool! Love the colors and especially the way you put it a pocket and added the hearts and stars!
