Hello Creatives!! Need some quick and easy projects you make in a day? Well, the “Be True” die cut collection is in the house and it doesn’t get any easier than this! I used one of my “Be True” die cuts to make this super quick! All you need is a little mat board, a little cork, a little ribbon, my die cuts and a pin or two. (Did you notice my pin has one of my Beautiful Blooms flower faces on it? More about that later…)
Quick and easy projects you can make in a day
Die cuts make it so easy to put together a little project for a special someone. You can put these together in just a couple of hours. Breaking out my Plaid paints, I painted a base for this next die in the collection, popping it up with Scrapbook adhesives foam tape!
I love the whimsical style in this project, by painting the background and adding a die cut it comes together easily! I used a small mat board 3×5 so that I wasn’t taking on a huge project making it one of three quick and easy projects you can make in a day!
For this project, I used the same concept- matboard, foam tape, paint, and my “Be True” die cut collection, I was able to put this together quickly. I drew my straight lines on the mat board in pencil for my guide and started doodling. Whats nice about this, besides being one of these quick and easy projects you can make in a day? Doodling can be done while doing other things, it is relaxing. Fill the background with watered down acrylic and add a pop of color to the little shapes with paint. After it dries, go back with your Marvy pens for sharp outlines.
