Hello Creatives! Anybody up for a weekend project? TGIF! Since it’s Friday, we are giving you two fun projects for your viewing pleasure! All week long we have been shining the spotlight on Marvy Uchida showing how their fabulous markers work on our creative projects! Today Kathryn and Jenn have created a feast for the eyes! We hope these inspire you to do your own weekend project! ANd if you keep reading you can enter to win your own set of Marvy pens!
This beautiful canvas is from Kathryn- using one of the Beautiful Blooms die cuts and layers of goodness accented with Marvy pens!
Kathryn used the Marvy Just Glitter pens to bring a little shimmer to her shabby chic frame and title! We all love a little sparkle! This project uses lots of scrap paper, lots of layers tied together with a focal point, the framed blossom. I bet you could gather lots of scraps right now and create your own beautiful college for a weekend project!

Tote anyone?
Jenn made this really fun tote full of color! This is another fun project you can easily do in a weekend! Even if you “say you can’t draw” you can use stamps, stencils, markers to create a fun tote for yourself- or a friend!
Here’s what Jenn had to say about her project:
This tote bag was so much fun to decorate using Rita’s fantastic stamps and stencils along with markers and glitter paint pens from Marvy! Using one of the “So you say you can’t draw” stencils and a pencil I created an outline on the bag. I hand drew a shirt on her and painted it using Marvy markers and glitter paint pens. The gumdrops are stamped with Rita’s Lollypops Art Foamies stamp and acrylic paint. Details were added with Marvy Glitter paint pens. The pens added sparkle and highlights the many layers of her hair. To get the logo on the bag I used iron on and transfer paper.
Make sure to leave Jenn some love for her fairy art below and don’t forget to enter our giveaway! We will announce the winner on Mixed Media Monday 5/14 8 pm CST at Rita Barakat1
