Hello Creatives! We have a new product spotlight this week with Marvy Glitter Deco Color Pens! You know what that means right? That means a week long of fabulous projects, inspiration and hello, did I mention a giveaway? Whoo Hoo! Today Betz is kicking things off with her cute little unicorn magnets! Unicorn magnets? Yes, please!
Look at this adorable little magnet Betz made with the Unicorn Art Foamies stamp and Marvy Glitter Deco Pens!
Here is what Betz had to say about her project:
I had some time to kill before I started my Mom’s Taxi Service to pick up kids from school (I seriously should become an Uber driver with as much as I am in the car. With a van – I could get paid double for having a large vehicle!). After finishing up running an errand I had 45 minutes. Not enough time to go home and too much time to sit in the parking lot at the first school, so I ventured over to Hobby Lobby. Finding the cutest magnets in different canvas shapes, I picked up several packages. A unicorn magnet would look great for one of my chalkboards in my craft room. I used paint, Rita Barakat’s Unicorn Art Foamie Stamp, and Marvy Glitter Deco Markers to create this:
Paint the canvas pink. Before it dries lift some of the colors by dabbing a wet sponge on the surface. Once it dries use a foam brush to paint the unicorn with purple acrylic Folk Art paint by Plaid. Stamp the unicorn head on the magnet. Outline the image with the purple Marvy Glitter pen and colored the mane in with the pink. Add details with the blue pen and finish it off with a few highlights using a white paint pen. I am super happy with how it turned out!
