Two of my favorite things are fairies and glitter. Hello, Creatives! I want you to take a close look at this photo. The canvas is a square and if you look closely where the canvas ends you can see the reflection of the sparkly glitter on the counter, almost as if it were the reflection of the starry filled night on still waters.

This little pixie comes from “The Veil of the Fairies”
This die cut collection available in the shop while supplies last. This is one of five fairies I call Piper. I feel like she is missing her “pipe” in this case I am thinking her flute. She reminds me of that very old story the pied piper. Its a wonder that these old stories were for children – they were quite dark, I would never read them to my children! I like happy stories that help them to feel safe, strong, encouraged and empowered. I think this Piper plays beautiful music that echoes throughout the land. Her melodies echo in the morning waking the flowers for their day! When she pays her flute sparkles flow everywhere, sometimes we can capture a little glimpse of this magic in the morning dew!

Piper
In the evening Piper sits here on this cloud. Piper takes a rest, enjoying the calmness and the reflection of the moon that lights up the night sky.
The moon is so bright the clouds seem to glisten in its reflection. (OK or maybe it’s a little Glitterific from Plaid lol! Fairies and glitter are a perfect pairing don’t you think?) It’s going to be another busy day waking up all those flowers!
OK so maybe you have discovered another of my favorite things, I love stories, fantastic ideas to explain the everyday. I love sharing the fantastic with my kids, and sometimes they indulge my whimsical stories by adding to them. I believe we all need a little fantasy in our lives no matter how old we are!
Speaking of which I absolutely adored your stories from last week! I can only pick one winner – Jenni can you please send me your address and I send you some fairies!!! I would love to hear your thoughts o PIper! (Or on fairies and glitter!) Also, I want to remind that starting Monday we are so excited to be sharing our new design team projects! To kick things off we will be doing a big giveaway with Scrapbook Adhesives! Make sure you check in on Monday to find out how to enter!
P.S. I posted a video of my studio (in progress) in my FB group “Get Creative with Rita Barakat” yesterday, you must be in the group to see it! 😉

Love hugs and kisses. Hope the redesign of the rooms is going well!!
I like the chunky glitter that you used. It looks like it’s several different sizes.
