Hi there, Karen here sharing a Fairy Magic Door Hanger created with the Fairy Magic stamp set by Rita. I love this set. It can used for many types of projects and continues to be a go to set for creative projects. I coordinated the stamp set with some dyed ribbon, tag, flowers, charms, inks and gesso. I’m including a super easy tutorial below:
Begin this project by applying inks to watercolor paper. Let dry.
Next, using black ink, stamp Fairies and sentiment from the Fairy Magic stamp set onto the inked watercolor paper.
Note: Make several stampings for additional projects.
Cut the Fairies and sentiment out and distress the edges with ink. Set aside.
Next, adhere resin frame to pre-gessoed tag and add eyelets.
Adhere fairies and flowers to the tag with hot glue. Note: The Fairy Magic stamping is so crisp.
Next, adhere sentiment, charms and additional flowers. Add ribbons and bows.
Lastly, tap gesso over Door Hanger with paintbrush and enhance the ribbon and flowers with gesso highlights.
This was a super fun project, with loads of texture. The use of the Fairy Magic set made all elements fit perfectly. The stamps can be found using the link below:
