Hello there, Karen here, sharing my Gypsy Soul Tag that I created with Rita’s Cowboy Boot Artfoamie stamp.
I always enjoy using this stamp. The details in the stamp are so fun and the stamping is always crisp. I coordinated the stamp with some oxide inks, bling sheet, dyed ribbon and charms. This gypsy soul tag measures 4 ½ x 6 ¾.
Start this tag by inking some watercolor paper with various oxide inks and water. The oxide colors: broken china, and vintage photo. I also used some loose ink to coordinate ribbon for this tag.
Next, I inked the Cowboy Boot artfoamie with black ink and stamped onto the inked watercolor paper. The boot was stamped again onto the inked watercolor paper and then both were cut out using scissors. Set aside.
I then trimmed the inked watercolor papers down to layering size, distressed the edges with oxide ink layered the inked watercolor paper, bling sheet and black tag base together.
Next, using a stencil, Copic marker, and air compressor I transferred a script to the watercolor paper. I also added dyed ribbon, bows, and charm.
Lastly, I punched a hole in the top center of the tag. I layered the stamped boots onto the tag with 3D tape and added more ribbon and a metal charm.
This is a super fun and easy project. The Cowboy Boot stamp measures 4 x 6, perfect for altered projects, journals and tags. The stamp can be found using the link below:
