testimonials from previous students:

Susie Sechrest, Houston, TX says: Rita, I recently took your Technique Madness Class at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington. You are a delight! You were the best teacher of the 5 classes I signed up for. You cover a lot of material, but you are efficient and organized. Well-planned out class to allow maximum participation and learning of multiple techniques. We actually finished our techniques. You are patient, encouraging, and always smiling. What more can you ask for? Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend your classes to all my friends.

Kate Morrow says:  I had the pleasure of taking all of Rita Barakat’s classes last weekend at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, Texas. Not only is she an excellent teacher, a super fun person, Rita is also one of the most talented artists I have ever met. The classes were upbeat, professional and most importantly they were incredibly educational. I cannot say enough about Rita Barakat, her talents, her passion for art and her ability as a teacher. The one thing everyone in each class kept saying was they were thrilled to be leaving with new knowledge in the art world and an absolutely fabulous finished product. I am looking forward to taking many more classes from Rita Barakat in the future.

Toni Hankins says: Absolutely loved the 3 classes I took of yours in Tulsa. You are so talented and so much fun. I am now a huge fan! Can’t wait until next year’s convention.
