Good morning artsy peeps- I usually write my posts at night but when I am super tired the words don’t come – I think I stared at the screen for about an hour before giving up last night! (I might have nodded off a few times! LOL) Anyways, this morning I am sharing a little art, mixed media and reminding you tomorrow is the last day you can comment on my post for a chance to win an apron original – painted ¬†and signed ūüėČ by me. Please comment on the previous post
to enter the giveaway I will announce the winner on Monday!

Sometimes the most wonderful ideas come from you – blog readers – one of you suggested a steampunk girl, so I drew her – she needs a name any suggestions? I did a little search ¬†before starting my mixed media piece and saw the most outrageous and fun (and crazy) fashions! It also happens that¬†Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft¬ģ has a¬†Gelatos¬ģColors set called Steampunk so I used only those colors for this project. There will be a post about this project on the¬†¬†Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft¬ģ blog either today or tommorrow – not sure when it’s going up but watch for it on their blog.

Here is another peek, not my usual color palette ¬†but I love how the colors came out! Speaking of color…

Here is a sneak peek for the Ustream mixed media art class I am teaching live on the 24th for¬†Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft¬ģ
You can always watch later but to win prizes you need to be there when it goes live so you don’t want to miss it!

Don’ forget to go comment on the previous post to enter to win an original painting ¬†by me just for you!

And please leave a suggestion for a name for my steampunk girl!
