Summer Fun!

RitaBarakat.comTravel Adventures

So how is your summer going? I hope you are having lots of summer fun! Our summer has been a roller coaster of emotions and financial stresses. Being the good mom that I am I plan lots of activities for the kiddos which include field trips that can be costly when you have three little kids to entertain. Which is not a big deal, this is expected, we planned for it. What we didn’t plan for is our mini van breaking down not once but twice already this summer!  And both times being two different, yet very costly expenditures. So it’s time to get creative! I would love to hear what things you and your family do when the kids are out of school for free or close to it so I can adjust my schedule accordingly! LOL

Meanwhile we have been doing some crafting (I have lots of supplies as you can imagine!) at home and I have a special post on the 30th on the DCWV blog all about that! I have done some crafting myself- hence the LO with DCWV’s Travel Adventures stack! I love the fun colors in this stack – there are lots of travel themes but also paper you can use everyday! I have also been getting ready for this…

It’s going on all week and the designers from all three companies are posting all week! My day is Friday so be sure to come back and check  it out! If you want to start now go check out one or all three of these company blogs for details –  DCWV/May Arts/Tombow

Don’t forget to check back Friday and  sign up for my newsletter!

  1. Love your LO! What a bummer about your van so sorry auto repairs always cost way too much!
We just bought 4 new tires for our small SUV 600.00. You would think with not having a big SUV they would not cost that much?

  2. Hi Rita me and Isaac go to the Rockwall Cinamark summer movie clubhouse. It’s a dollar movie they’re not new releases but it still something that’s cool and fun and cheap. They’re usually at 9:45 AM Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Let me know if you would like to meet up and go. Esther Hitt
